The medium size is not too small and not too big- perfect for everyday use when you need to carry a bit more than just the necessities. For example, the backpack will comfortably fit a full size Nintendo Switch, a 10" iPad (it fits a 12.9" but its a bit snug!), and most standard size paperback books. I do not recommend overstuffing the bag or carrying super heavy things though, in order to prolong the life of the bag.
